Nachdem ich über 20 Jahre lang die LogiMAT in Stuttgart von einer regionalen Veranstaltung zu einer weltweit führenden Fachmesse entwickelt habe – inklusive erfolgreicher Ableger in Asien –, ist mein Herz noch nicht bereit für den Ruhestand.
Was war das Geheimnis des Erfolgs?

Ja, es war harte Arbeit an der Seite fantastischer LogiMAT-Teams, doch unseren Erfolg verdanken wir vor allem den Ausstellern, die uns auf diesem Weg unterstützt und vertraut haben.
Jetzt, da ich mich im „(Un)Ruhestand“ befinde – ich arbeite deutlich weniger, bin aber noch nicht bereit, mich ganz zurückzuziehen –, freue ich mich darauf, etwas von meiner Erfahrung zurückzugeben.
Ich war für meine Aussteller stets erreichbar – und das gilt auch heute noch. Wenn Sie Fragen haben – insbesondere zu unseren Messen in China und Indien –, helfe ich sehr gerne weiter, soweit es mir möglich ist.

After spending over 20 years intensively developing the LogiMAT trade show in Stuttgart from a fantastic but modest regional event into a leading global trade fair—with successful spin-offs in Asia—my heart simply isn’t ready to retire yet.
What was the secret to success?
Reliability!
Yes, it involved hard work with fantastic LogiMAT teams in Stuttgart and abroad, but above all, we owe our success to the exhibitors who placed their trust in us and supported us along the way.
Now that I am in a kind of „active retirement“—working significantly less but not yet ready to withdraw completely—I look forward to give something from my experience back to my exhibitors.
